The recovered slag powder and medium sieve block are mainly used for ironmaking sintering and steelmaking converter production, further reducing the production cost of pre-iron and steel post-process. At present, the comprehensive utilization of steel slag at home and abroad has undergone major changes compared with the past. The guiding ideology of steel slag management has changed from a simple environmental perspective to comprehensive management and resource utilization. Steel slag can be used as iron-making flux, directly added to blast furnace or sinter, and recycled inside the steel plant. It can also be used as a cushion and structural layer of road subgrade. It is especially suitable as an aggregate paving layer for asphalt mixture. Road construction with steel slag has the advantages of high strength, good wear resistance and slip resistance, and low maintenance cost.
